Road Trip....

I guess a good place to start would be our recent move... What an experience!!! I wont bore you with all the details but I will fill you in on a few key moments.

In late July as we were in Arizona celebrating Brian's (Scott's brother) graduation when we found out that Scott's transfer had gone through and we would be moving to Colorado! You may be wondering "why would you leave wonderful sunny California and a great Beach house, not to mention such great friends to go to Colorado?" To pursue the American Dream!!! No to mention free room and board provided by my wonderful sister Keriann & her family. OK so it's not entirely FREE.... but who could pass up that offer! Scott & I decided that it would be a great way to get back on our feet financially and pursue the next chapter in our lives. So on Aug. 3rd we packed up Scott's Acura ( thanks cuz!) and Scott was on his way. I stayed behind to pack our house and finish up work!

On Sept. 4th Scott flew home to help with the finial packing and loading , most of which all was done thanks to my WONDERFUL FRIENDS who helped me!! I couldn't have done it with out them... Scott and I then started our journey!

With the truck and boat packed full we said our tearful good byes and head out early on Sept 7th. We had stopped 3 times before we even hit Las Vegas, for those of you who don't know Las Vegas is only 4 hours from where we started!! And of course we has to stop and go SHOPPING in Las Vegas!!! We content plated getting married while we were there but decided to keep driving! The rest of our journey was somewhat uneventful, lots of stops and lots of video taping! We arrived in Colorado at around 4am on Sept.8th. It was cold and rainy! I thought to my self why did I move here? I especially thought that as I was getting all of my clothing out of our boat ( I thought that it would be a good place to put my clothes for the move) they were all WET!!! The next week I spent in bed because I was sick... go figure!
